Why We Like It: Sure it's Britian-centric, but there's no complaining about this well-designed, quality site that offers everything you need. From the simple home page, click on the little plus sign expansion for each sport and world of betting lines will come to you. The lines are clean and easy to understand--which is more than most sportsbooks can say--but to be sure the site also offers a great "Betting School" that will teach all you need to know to bet like a pro. There's no live support chat, but the phone and email service is prompt and effective. |

Why We Like It: Betfair.com is another big name in the sports book arena for good reasons: great payouts, impeccable customer service, great promotions, a and a robust menu of betting options and betting information.
Betfair.com also hosts great in-person promotional events should you find yourself in the winners circle. The biggest problem is that the site often has problems connecting users to the Java-based online version in the afternoon. Don't forget to leave off the "s" in the URL, othewise you end up at Sportsbooks.com, which is (slightly) different. |

Why We Like It: Intensely English and very good at it. This doesn't preclude the rest of the world from getting in the action though, and the action's great. Bet on darts and snooker or your favorite international sports and feel secure knowing the integrity and customer service behind your sportsbook is as trusty as any you'll find. The racebook here is perhaps the best in the business, but you'll need to brush up on your English horses and tracks with some online research. But if everything else is online anyway, why should that stop you? |
